”Long ago, Ndaba went with other people to collect honey inside a deep rock. They worked together and found plenty of honey. But Ndaba became greedy and decided to eat everything by himself without sharing with the others. This broke trust among the group. In anger, the others left him alone inside the rock and went away.
Ndaba realized too late what he had done. He tried to climb back up, but the rock was steep and difficult. He struggled for a long time, trapped with no help, until he finally fell and died.” Since that time, the place has carried his name, and the story has been told from generation to generation.
