This unforgettable day trip start with a Relaxing boat cruise from our boat starting point in Kibuye where visitors explore some of the most beautiful islands on the lake, including Napoleon Island, famous for its Napoleon’s shape, large colony of fruit bats with panoramic view on top, Monkey island and Amahoro (Peace) Island, known for its calm and scenic environment.
After the relaxing and enjoyable boat cruise, adventure continues with a 3-4 hours hiking experience along on the Congo-Nile Trail, one of the most scenic trails in East Africa. Guests can choose between hiking or mountain biking while enjoying spectacular views of Lake Kivu, rolling green hills, local villages, and coffee plantations.
